Climate and Best Travel Season

Due to its proximity to the equator Lagoinha is warm throughout the year with an average temperature of
27 degrees centigrade.
As it is on the Atlantic coast it also benefits from sea
breezes, making it pleasantly refreshing.
Brazil’s North-east only has two seasons:
summer = the dry season
winter = the rainy season.

The dry season runs from the beginning of July to the
end of February, the rainy season takes places from
March through to the end of June.
At the height of the rainy season in April and May
the rain can be very heavy at times, the temperatures
remain pleasantly warm.
Best time to travel:
1 January to 15 March, 1 July to 31 December
